Human-Wildlife Conflict Awareness Series
Mon Aug 10 2026
Living close to forests brings people and wildlife into frequent contact, making awareness and preparedness essential for safe coexistence. As part of its community forest governance and conservation efforts, KHOJ has developed a series of awareness posters on safely responding to encounters with elephants, wild boars, and snakes.
These IEC materials provide simple, practical guidance on what to do and what to avoid during wildlife encounters, helping communities reduce risks, prevent injuries, and minimize human-wildlife conflict. By promoting informed and responsible behaviour, the initiative aims to protect both people and wildlife while strengthening community stewardship of forests.
Together, we can ensure the safety of people, the protection of wildlife, and the conservation of healthy forest landscapes.
